P.G Diploma & Certificate Course In Yoga Education
Yoga is the most sophisticated spiritual tradition in the world. It is also the oldest continuous endeavor to map the path from the valley of spiritual ignorance to the peak of enlightenment, and it offers the largest assemblage of practical tools for self-transformation and self-transcendence. It is a way of life, an integrated education system that teaches the mind, body and inner spirit to coexist in harmony. It is a large set of physical and spiritual techniques that integrate, harmonize and balance mind, body and spirit. It also recommends meditation, and cultivation of lovingness, compassion, goodwill and acceptance, as well as non-violence, truthfulness, training the senses, non-possessiveness, and other such virtues. Yoga as an experiment has been conducted for at least five millennia by millions of practitioners, including thousands of advanced realizers, and a small but consequential group of truly great masters. Tree of Yoga has grown in the rich soil of three great cultural traditions. Jainism, Buddhism and Hinduism. These are not merely religions, as often thought, but entire and largely self-contained cultures which all have their cradle in India. Therefore, to have an integrated knowledge of Yoga the practices and knowledge of all the tradition is most important. Prominently it has the branches like- Bhakti Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Jñāna Yoga, Karma Yoga, Kriyā Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Tantra Yoga, and Rāja Yoga. It is science of wholeness and perfection if taught honestly with its true techniques. Presently, so many Institutions are departing Yoga Education in India as well as in abroad. But very few are engaged in true education of Yoga.
Parshwanath Vidyapeeth, after a long 80 years experience of Academic work such as Teaching, Research & Publication is going to start some important courses on Yoga.
